David Lara is an executive, entrepreneur, and technology leader with more than two decades of experience spanning government, technology, AI, and civic innovation. He currently serves as Executive Director of AI 2030, a global member-based organization focused on advancing responsible AI, where he leads strategy, operations, partnerships, fundraising, and engagement across government, industry, academia, and the investment community.

David is also Co-Founder and CEO of SuperCity AI, an AI-powered civic technology platform helping cities deliver digital services, payments, communications, and community engagement through a unified platform. He is a Co-Founder and board member of SuperForce AI, a nonprofit focused on creating pathways into technology, finance, consulting, and entrepreneurship for students and veterans. He also serves in a leadership role with AuraVision Health, an AI-powered healthcare technology company focused on patient navigation and intelligent care delivery.

Previously, David held senior leadership positions in government, including serving as Chief Administrative Officer for New York City and Deputy Budget Director for New York State. Across his career, he has worked at the intersection of public policy, technology, operations, and economic development, building partnerships among government, corporations, investors, universities, and emerging technology companies.

David holds a Master of Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Washington.
