Nick Ellingson is VP of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA). Nick founded the WTIA Founder Cohort accelerator, which has now supported more than 350 startups, and launched WTIA's Advanced Technology Cluster — economic development work growing Washington's AI, quantum, and advanced technology sectors in partnership with government, industry, and academia. Over his career he has worked with more than 1,000 startups, from Washington companies finding their footing to international founders building a go-to-market strategy for entering the US through Seattle. He is also a co-founder of Seattle AI Week. A Seattleite, Nick holds an Executive MBA from Seattle University and brings a background in sales and business development that keeps his perspective grounded in what it actually takes to grow a company.
